We found a player piano from an estate sale last Sunday that we could not pass up. Such a nostalgic find! We got it under the condition that it doesn't work, but when we got it home, it worked perfectly, except for the fact that it hasn't been tuned in a very long time. While intune with itself, every key was basically a half step down.
I called Evan on Monday to schedule a short notice tuning for Tuesday since the house would be quiet the next day.
Jose arrived for the appointment the next morning, and wow, not only did he tune the piano, he did it correctly, and with patience, considering the player mechanism was an obstacle to tune around. Also, he tested the tuning by playing an actual composition, which I think helps to identify any faults in tempered tuning.
I'm extremely grateful for Evan, Jose, and their knowledge, skills, and expertise.

I just had my 1966 Baldwin grand tuned with Jose. He was punctual, respectful of my piano, professional and kind. He was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing in great detail. I had a few questions about maintaining my pianos quality, and I didn’t feel as though he was trying to money gouge or unecessarily sell me on extra services. I was very impressed with them and will schedule again in the future. Thank you Jose!!

We purchased a beautiful 1988 Baldwin Model L piano from Roberts Piano of Houston for my daughter. Evan (owner) was amazing to work with. Evan made us feel welcomed into his shop. He did not pressure us into making a decision on which piano to choose. He did provide us a lot of knowledge and options to choose from. We visited his location twice and Evan answered every single question and concerns we had. We brought in a technician to look over the piano we chose and Evan was very receptive of the idea. Evan was also very responsive to any questions we had. We visited other piano stores and spoke to other piano store sales personnel but it did not compare to the customer service experience we received from Evan. Evan truly listened to what we were looking for and was able present us with options. We never thought we would end up with a grand piano, but my daughter fell in love with it the moment she started playing. My daughter is absolutely in love with her new instrument. She told her voice coach that she can't stop playing her brand new piano! I highly recommend Roberts Piano of Houston and I highly recommend Evan! Thank you Evan! Mr. Evan is really great to work with. He's very professional and honest. No hard sales. He is very understanding and flexible in discussing some terms when buying the piano. Got the piano 2 weeks ago. He also make sure/ check whatever price advertised online is what it should be. No price hike. The piano I got is Young Chang which is the same piano brand I used to play. It sounds great and maintained.
