A lovely taller American upright piano from Camp & Company, the larger tone and longer keys make for a lovely tone and touch. The originally condition is of an older piano, c.100 years old in need of quite a bit of part replacement strings, hammers, dampers, key felts, tapes, etc.
Cabinet
The cabinet is very damaged, it requires a full refinish, the client has opted to restore the cabinet at a later date.
Parts
The action is older and brittle, however with some replacement of parts we can recondition the piano to play much better. New tapes, for the action to stay together when we replace it.
Tone
Overall tone is love, rich, and the taller cabinet is aiding the richness of tone, and deep bass. However, the bass strings are muffled, and require replacing with new strings to bring back a vibrant tone. We will replace the bass strings and treble as these are much easier to access when replacing the bass strings. Hammer tone is good int he middle and bass, the treble is very weak due to hammers worn to the core, we recommend new hammers with the new strings.
