Kawai KL703
The Kawai KL703 is a taller Japanese upright from Kawai's KL line. At about 4'4" high, it has more cabinet and string length than a small console, so it should have more depth and authority than a compact upright. This is a good one to consider if you want a Japanese upright with more presence and character than a plain black school piano.
