Roberts Pianos Houston | Rent To Buy Terms
Rent to Buy Terms
Flexible payment options for owning your dream piano. Terms and conditions for our rent-to-buy program.
Program Overview
Our Rent to Buy program allows you to take home a piano with a 50% upfront payment (phrased as 10 months rent), which goes towards your purchase balance. This program is available exclusively for pianos owned by Roberts Pianos (not consignment instruments) and is only available in Houston and surrounding areas.
Payment Structure
-
Initial Payment: 50% of the piano price, invoiced as "10 months rent" which goes directly to your purchase balance
-
Remaining Balance: The remaining 50% must be paid if you choose to purchase the piano
-
No Interest: This program has no interest charges
-
Payment Methods: Payments must be made by BACS, Zelle, Venmo, or check. Credit cards are not accepted for this program
Removal and Delivery Fees
-
Two-Way Removal Fee: A removal fee is required upfront to cover both delivery and potential return. This fee is non-refundable
-
Return Delivery Fee Deduction: If you decide to purchase the piano, the return delivery fee portion will be deducted from your final balance (local deliveries only, within Houston and surrounding areas)
-
Upgrade Removal Fee: If you choose to upgrade to another piano, you will be required to pay an additional removal fee. This covers both the return of the original piano and delivery of the new piano
Your Options
Purchase the Piano
If you decide to purchase the piano, you must pay off the remaining balance (50% of the original price). The 10 months rent you've already paid will be applied towards the purchase price.
Return the Piano
You may return the piano at any time. The 10 months rent paid will not be refunded, but you will not be responsible for the remaining balance.
Upgrade to Another Piano
You may upgrade to another piano from our stock (not consignment). The balance from your current piano will be applied towards the new piano. You will be required to pay an additional removal fee for the exchange (covering both return and delivery). The new piano must also be eligible for the rent-to-buy program.
Damage and Liability
If the piano is damaged while in your possession, you will be required to pay off the remaining balance. The piano must be returned in the same condition as when it was delivered, accounting for normal wear and tear.
Geographic Restrictions
The Rent to Buy program is only available for deliveries within Houston and surrounding areas. We reserve the right to determine eligibility based on delivery location.
