Baldwin

Baldwin

Baldwin was founded in 1862 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and became one of the major American piano makers of the 20th century. Their instruments are known for a bold, full tone and a solid, traditional feel. Baldwin’s history includes several factories and production changes over the decades, so the quality and character can vary quite a bit from one piano to another. A well-kept older Baldwin can have a strong American voice, while newer models may feel more modern and lighter in tone. It’s a brand worth judging case-by-case.
